A grand Arctic adventure awaits! We journey 350 miles north of the Arctic Circle to Alaska's North Slope! Join us as we brave the icy wilds, ministering in Barrow with Pastors David and Tina Matthews, and venturing by plane and ice road to remote villages rarely reached. We'll share fellowship, worship and prayer in countless homes and churches. Will you answer the call to this epic quest?
TRIP COST: $2,600 (Airfare, meals, transportation and lodging included)
SCHEDULE (this will fluctuate but gives you an outline)
Day 1- Fly to Anchorage, Alaska. Get dinner at a local spot and stay overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 2- Sightseeing and community outreach in Anchorage.
Day3 - Morning ministry at a local church in Anchorage. Depart
Anchorage at 3:00 PM to fly to Barrow.
Day 4- Nursing home ministry in the morning. Youth conference in the evening. Overnight stay at the church.
Day 5- Arctic sledding and visit to the Heritage Museum. Youth
conference in the evening.
Day 6- Travel to a nearby village for ministry. Overnight stay in a
school gymnasium.
Day 7- Morning ministry activities in the village. Return travel to
Barrow. Overnight stay at the church.
Day 8- Activities TBD. Depart Barrow for return travel.
Saturday, March 15 Arrive at destination in the morning.
